Mini towers, old cars

We had planned to go to the beach again today, but the weather was not so promising, so we decided to go to Fælledparken, where there's the mini-towers playground. The kids and I have visited this park once this year (click here for the post), but it was the first time for Jonathan, and he seemed quite impressed.

While the kids played in the towers, we turned into some kind of aliens... Haha.

Fælledparken is the largest park in Copenhagen, and is very popular. It has a great lawn area used for all kinds of activities including picnicking, playing soccer, or jogging along the path around the lawn, and so on.

We had lunch on one of the benches, and noticed (with my hawk-eyes) in the far corner of the park, a lot of cars parked that looked like classic cars. Jonathan is a big classic car fan, so we walked through the big lawn to check it out.

It turns out that, Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix, a really big car race, was taking place also at Fælledparken, and the Classic Car Park was part of the event. According to their web site, it is the largest European exhibition of classic cars. Sure enough, there were a lot of classic cars there, and Jonathan and Yuto looked pretty excited, whereas the girls team (especially Mio) was not so into it... That said, some of the old cars were quite beautiful.

Oh no, our last weekend here is over!
